DTEK Naftogaz will drill two more wells at Machukhske field

Naftogazrozrobka LLC, group of DTEK Naftogaz, intends to drill exploration wells No. 57 and No. 59 at the Machukhske gas condensate field (GCF) and develop the wells. This was reported in the EIA Register on December 19, 2019.

According to the report, it is planned to drill, equip and tie-in the wells. In addition, wells entry manifolds at Machukhske Gas Treatment Plant (GTP) will be extended and a parallel gas pipeline will be constructed from Machukhske GTP to the Dykanka-Kremenchuk-Kryvyi Rih main gas pipeline with a length of 6,209m. The reconstruction of the second stage of the Machukhske GTP is also planned. In particular, it includes the construction of a third process line for the low-temperature gas separation (NTS-3).

According to anEIA Register report, drilling of well No. 57 with depth of 5,520m (target horizon C1tb-d (T-2-4)) is planned to be performed with a Bentec 450 (RIG 2000 HP) drilling rig with a lifting capacity of 450 tons and diesel drive. And drilling of the well No. 59 with a depth of 5,900m (target horizon F-1-2 (D3fm)) will be performed with Drillmec 1500 HP Winter drilling rig with a lifting capacity of at least 345 tons and diesel drive.

ODESA OFFSHORE CONFERENCE-2019 Ukraine has every chance to resume the work of the most promising oil and gas region, the Southern oil&gas fields. The untapped deposits of oil and gas are located both onshore and subsea. Four companies have already poised to conclude Production Sharing Agreements with Ukraine, whilst bidding for the Dolphin oil&gas fields on Black Sea shelf. The Odesa Offshore Conference (OOC2019) will serve as a venue for Ukrainian and international bidders to meet with local and international drilling, oilfield service and equipment manufacturers to kick-off emerging subsea and onshore projects in Ukraine.
