Depletion level of the five largest Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s fields exceeds 84%

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC provides data on the depletion of its largest field, the average level of which depletion exceeds 84%, press service reports on its Facebook page.

According to the Company, the top 5 include the following fields, which have a significant degree of depletion:

• Shebelynske – 89%

• Zakhidno-Khrestyschenske – 90%

• Yablunivske – 79%

• Yefremivske – 82%

• Melykhivske – 82%

The Company also noted that significant investment is now being made into finding of the new resources that will allow compensating for production and natural decline. In particular, the company explores the available areas and assesses the development of the new areas, the so-called “greenfields”.
