Debts of the Ukrainian households for electricity have increased by 36% since the beginning of 2020

The total debt of Ukrainian household consumers for consumed electricity and electricity distribution service from January 1, 2020 to May 1, 2021 increased by 36%, from UAH 5.9 billion up to UAH 8 billion.

Such data were published on May 31, 2021, by the former head of the Ministry of Energy Olha Buslavets.

Also, according to her information, in the general structure of UAH 8 billion (as of May 1, 2021), UAH 1.54 billion were the debts of household consumers, which were accumulated before January 1, 2019.
