Coal reserves in TPP warehouses are 21% lower than planned - NEC Ukrenergo

Coal reserves in TPP warehouses, as of July 26, 2021, amounted up to 954 000 tons, which was by 21% lower than the amount set in the schedule of coal accumulation approved by the Ministry of Energy, as stated in the weekly report of the NEC Ukrenergo.

According to the NEC Ukrenergo, the volume of anthracite coal in warehouses of Ukrainian TPPs grew by 2.5% since July 1, 2021, up to 245 000 tons, and gas-grade coals slashed by 32.1%, down to 709 000 tons.

In total, for the last 10 days, coal supply at TPPs amounted to 51200 tons, while withdrawals for production consumption were at 65400 tons.

"However, starting from July 22, 2021, there was a slight increase in coal stocks in the warehouses of Ukrainian TPPs - from 940000 tons up to 954000 tons. The warehouses of Ukrainian TPPs on July 26, 2021, numbered 183000 tons of coals, which was by 26.2% more than on July 1, 2021 (145000 tons )," said the report.
