Coal reserves in DTEK TPP warehouses increased by 22.5% from mid-August 2021, up to 600000 tons

The total reserves of all brands of coal in the warehouses of DTEK Energo's thermal power plants increased by 22.5% from mid-August to early September 2021(as of September 2, 2021), and grew over 600000 tons, according to the Ministry of Energy.

The largest reserves of gas-grade coal are accumulated at DTEK Kurakhivska TPP of the PJSC DTEK Skhidenergo. As of September 2, 2021, the stocks in the warehouses amount to 178100 tons.

The largest amount of 141500 tons in anthracite coal has been warehoused at the DTEK Luganska TPP. At the same time, coal reserves warehoused at the TPPs the PJSC Centrenergo and the PJSC Donbasenergo continued to decline. As of September 2, 2021, they totaled 45700 and 981000 tons, respectively.

During the period of August- early September 2021, the total stocks of coals in the warehouses of the PJSC Centrenergo’s TPPs slashed by 2.5 times. In the warehouses of the Slaviansk TPP of the PJSC Donbasenergo, coal stocks of all grades decreased by 4% during August- early September 2021.
