China's CNPC launched the deepest onshore gas field
The China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) launched the deepest onshore gas field, Keshen 9, in the southern foot of Tianshan in the Tarim oil field, Xinjiang region. This was reported by of the company.
This will allow the company to increase its production capacity by almost 4 billion m 3 next year.
CNPC has 21 exploration wells and 37 drilling wells/. The CNPC drilled 32 gas wells in the southern foot of Tianshan, each well producing more than 300,000 cubic meters of gas.
Keshen Field 9, with an average drilling depth of 7,785 meters and a design capacity of 3.5 million cubic meters per day.
