Centrenergo increased its net loss in H1 of 2021 by 20%, up to UAH 591 million

The PJSC Centrenergo, according to the results of H1 of 2021, incurred UAH 591.1 million in net loss, which was by 19.8% more than in H1 of 2020, as published on the company’s webpage.

According to the report on financial results, the PJSC Centrenergo received UAH 5.77 billion in net income in H1 of 2021, which was by 37.5% less than in H1 of 2020.

Operational expenses of the state-run power generating company dropped by 16.7%, down to UAH 5.86 billion. According to the company's balance sheet for H1 of 2021, accounts payables of the PJSC Centrenergo dropped by UAH 1.2 billion, down to UAH 3.2 billion.

As previously reported by ExPro, the PJSC Centrenergo stated that the company plans to receive UAH 25 million in net profit in 2021. The PJSC Centrenergo received UAH 796.3 million in net loss in the first quarter of 2021, which was by 4.8 times more than in 2020. Thus, according to the results of H1 of 2021, the company managed to reduce losses by UAH 205.2 million.
