Cadogan Petroleum plans to drill four wells at Monastyretska area
Yusenko Nadra (a subsidiary of Cadogan Petroleum) plans to drill four prospecting and exploration wells, with a depth of around 3,500m each, within the Monastyretska area in Lviv region. It is reported in the EIA Register on December 18, 2019.
According to the report, the planned activity includes the geological exploration of oil and gas, including the development of hydrocarbons, with the further oil and gas production within the Monastyretska area (except for the Blazhivske oil field). According to the mentioned activity, drilling of 4 prospecting and exploration wells is planned including 100-Blazhiv, 101-Blazhiv, 102-Blazhiv, 103-Blazhiv, with an approximate depth of 3,500 m each, using a diesel drive drilling rig and pumping equipment. The plans also include the transportation of the produced products to the oil collection point (OCP) at Blazhivske field via pipelines, with an estimated length of up to 5 km.
According to the EIA design project, Yusenko Nadra intends to produce 143.1 thousand tons of oil and 55.75 million cubic meters of oil from the Northern block of the Blazhivskestructure during the development period of 2022-2052. From the Southeast block of the Monastyretska structure during the development period of 2021-2034 it plans to produce 12.78 thousand tons of oil and 4.77 million cubic meters of associated gas.
