Burisma starts drilling of the first well at the Klubanivsko-Zubrenivska area
The Burisma Group's launches the construction of the first well in the Klubanivsko-Zubrenkivska area with a projected depth of about 6,000 m.
According to the report, the group has recently completed the installation of the Italian Drillmec drilling rig. It will be used to drill well No. 1 of the area, in order to search for hydrocarbon deposits and to study the productive horizons of the Devonian and Tournian tiers, with an assessment of the prospect of deposits of the Vizian and Serpukhiv tiers of the Carboniferous.
The drilling of this well will be carried out by a sumpless drilling with the use of sludge decantation technology using a special dehumidifier.
The head of the Board of Directors of Burisma Group Karina Zlochevska, said that in order to create a new resource base and increase natural gas production, the group of companies plans to continue exploring new promising oil and gas areas.
As previously reported, the purchase of tubulars for the construction of the well was carried out by Burisma Group at the end of this summer.
The Klubanivsko-Zubrenkivska Area is located in the Kharkiv region with a total area of 102.22 sq km. Permission to use the subsoil of the oil and gas area was issued to Esco-Pivnich LLC in 1994 and valid until 2032.
