Burisma completes preparatory works for drilling a new well at Derkachivsko-Voytenivska area
Burisma International Energy Group is completing preparatory works for well No. 7 drilling at Zhuravlyna structure at Derkachivsko-Voytenivska area in Kharkiv region.
It is planned that well No. 7 will be drilled to 4,000 m. The expected completion date is July 2020, which corresponds to the planned drilling terms.
Drilling will be performed by pitless with complete disposal of waste sing Uralmash 4E drilling rig.
“The hundreds of millions of cubic meters of gas that we expect to receive from the new well is not only a Group achievement but also a significant plus to the country’s gas balance,” Taras Burdeny, CEO of Burisma Group, told.
According to the investment plan, Burisma Group plans to drill fifteen new wells in the Karaykozivske, Vodianivske and Rokytnyanske fields in 2020, at Zhuravlyna structure at Derkachivsko-Voytenivska area, the Klubanivsko-Zubrenkivska and other areas. In addition to drilling, Burisma Group invests in surface infrastructure.
In particular, in 2020 it is planned to build new gas pipelines, units for natural gas propane cooling, reconstruct CGTP, and continue the project of construction of a condensate stabilization plant and deep extraction of propane-butane mixture (LPG) from natural gas.
