Bulgaria and Saudi Arkad Engineering have signed a contract for building a gas pipeline by - passing Ukraine
Bulgaria's state gas operator Bulgartransgaz and a consortium led by Arkad Engineering (Saudi Arabia) have signed a contract for building a gas pipeline that will start in Turkey (at the point of TurkStream ending ), pass through the territory of Bulgaria with the ending in Serbia, by Associated Press.
"On Wednesday, Bulgaria's state gas operator signed a $ 1.1 billion ($ 1.2 billion) contract with Saudi Arabia`s company to build a gas pipeline that would carry natural gas from the Russia via Turkish Stream into European countries", reflected in article.
It is envisaged that the contract would allow to build a pipeline with a total length of 474 kilometers. An additional section of the pipeline, would supply gas to Serbia, Hungary and Austria.

It runs from Russkaya compressor station near Anapa in Russia's Krasnodar Region, crossing the Black Sea and ending at Kıyıköy on the Turkish Thrace coast, where it connects to other pipelines. TurkStream replaced the cancelled South Stream project.
