Arkona’s development special permits for of Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske field recognized invalid
The Kyiv District Administrative Court satisfied the claims of Ukrnafta PJSC in the case of Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske gas field. The corresponding decision in the case that was considered since October 2019 was made by the court on July 1, 2020, the press service of the company reports.
According to the report the court ruling:
• cancelled the protocol decision of the State Service for Geology and Subsoil dated 22.11.16 on the entry into force of the SCR Protocol, which unlawfully merged Svistunkivske and Chervonolutske fields and allowed the re-evaluation of the reserves of the Chervonolutske field by Arkona Gas-Energy LLC after the state approval of reserves at this field by Ukrnafta PJSC in 2010;
• cancelled the order of Derzhheonadra No. 217 dated 15.05.2017 on granting Arkona Gas-Energy LLC a 20-year special subsoil use permit for geological study, including pilot development with subsequent oil and gas production (commercial development) of Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske field;
• recognized the special permit No. 4830 dated 18.05.2017 issued to Arkona Gas-Energy LLC for the geological study of oil and gas bearing deposits, including pilot development with further production of oil and gas (commercial development) of Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutske field.
